Daniel is a commercial lawyer specialising in private and public mergers and acquisitions, equity capital markets and transaction disputes.

Known for his commercial mindset and attention to detail, Daniel is focused on delivering clear, practical and strategic advice that supports clients in achieving their business objectives.

Daniel’s experience includes drafting documents for a wide range of commercial transactions, including shareholder agreements, employee share option plans, deeds of settlement and release, share sale and purchase agreements, and resolutions of members and directors, among others.

He also specialises in litigation and transaction disputes, with experience preparing claims, defences, affidavits and pleadings across multiple jurisdictions.

Daniel’s experience includes:

  • Advising MyVenue, a global leader in event point-of-sale technology, on its strategic and investment partnership with Greater Sum Ventures;
  • Advising clients in shareholder and director disputes, and third-party warranty claims;
  • Advising on matters involving competition and consumer laws; and
  • Assisting clients in breach of contract and debt recovery claims.

Daniel holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Adelaide and studied law at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. He plays league football for the Woodville-West Torrens Eagles in the SANFL and is a board member of the SANFL Players’ Association.

In 2026, Daniel will further develop his dispute resolution experience as a Judges Associate to the Honourable President Livesey of the Supreme Court of South Australia.
