Arin is an Associate Director in our Debt Capital Markets team. He has experience acting for non-bank financiers and public and private sponsors in a range of syndicated, bilateral and club debt financing transactions, including real property finance, construction finance, acquisition finance, corporate finance and impact investment.

He prides himself on his commerciality, technical expertise and attention to detail to provide practical advice to clients.

Arin has experience in dealing with bespoke arrangements including corporations: incorporated under the Corporations (Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander) Act 2006 (Cth), entities incorporated by private members bill, charities and religious institutions, and company title entities.

Arin’s recent experience includes acting for:

  • Non-bank financiers (including Qualitas, Centuria Bass, Arrowpoint, Alceon, Causeway and MaxCap) in connection with their land, construction and acquisition facilities in multiple jurisdictions;
  • ROC Partners fund in connection with its acquisition facility agreement for the purchase of Pace Farms;
  • a Community Housing Provider in connection with its financing arrangements from federal and state government agencies;
  • Conscious Investment Management in connection with:
    • a financing arrangement to allow the Kullilli Bulloo River Aboriginal Corporation (RNTBC) to purchase a native title pastoral lease for Thargomindah Station and partner with Climate Friendly in developing carbon farming practices for native title land; and
    • a financing arrangement with Greening Australia Ltd
  • sponsors in connection with their facilities from various bank and non-bank financiers (including the big 4 banks, Qualitas, PAG, Metrics, MA Financial, Monark, La Trobe and MaxCap);
  • impact investment funds in connection with their property, working capital and project investments;
  • a New Zealand company in connection with a licensing arrangement involving cross-jurisdictional counterparties and legislation;
  • non-bank financiers and sponsors in connection with joint ventures and property agreements;
  • an offshore joint venture partner in connection with its investment and debt facilities to a corporate borrower in connection with assets owned and being developed by the Borrower in Victoria; and
  • a publicly listed company in connection with the negotiation and finalisation of amendments to its club facilities and its ring-fenced financing transaction.
