Simone has over 10 years’ transactional experience acting on deals for clients across a range of industries including the agribusiness, life sciences, digital media, manufacturing, renewables and resources sectors.
Simone specialises in managing complex M&A transactions, restructures, joint ventures, asset acquisitions and disposals for listed and unlisted clients.
Simone’s recent experience includes:
- Acting for Australian Wool Network, Australia’s largest independent wool broker, livestock and property group, on a series of acquisitions and advising the board and senior management on a range of commercial and governance matters;
- Advising the peak industry body representing Australia’s mobile telecommunications industry on membership and funding arrangements, commercial contracts with suppliers, project partners and telco market participants;
- Acting for global conglomerate Lantmannen Unibake on its entry into the Australian baked goods market via its acquisition of a bakery business supplying to Australia’s leading supermarket chains, representing a key strategic move for one of Europe’s largest bakery groups; and
- Advising on a series of acquisitions for one of Australia’s leading job training, employment and workforce solutions providers whose programs are active across metropolitan, regional and remote communities throughout Australia.
