Kain Lawyers is proud to have advised Amber Electric on their $45 million funding round led by ETF Partners, with participation from Square Peg, Gentrack, Rubio Impact Ventures, and Breakthrough Victoria.
Amber Electric is helping accelerate Australia’s shift to 100% renewables, giving customers access to real-time wholesale electricity prices and the ability to shift usage to when power is cheaper and greener. The firm is also developing vehicle-to-grid capability that will enable customers to sell energy from their EVs back to the grid. The capital raise will accelerate the firm’s global expansion, building on partnerships with major UK utilities E.ON and Ecotricity.
The Kain Lawyers deal team advising Amber Electric was led by David Mitchell with assistance from Emily Stollznow, Amanda Hsi and Navar Amici. Congratulations to all involved!
