Kain Lawyers is pleased to have advised Australia’s leading managed service provider, Efex, on its acquisition of Medihost Solutions. Efex provides a comprehensive range of managed IT services to mid-market businesses across Australia.

Medihost Solutions delivers medical IT support and solutions for healthcare practices in Australia and New Zealand.

The Kain Lawyers team advising Efex was led by Jacob Thomas, with assistance from team members Jack Dittmar, Arin Harman, and Jeremy Harford.

Mr Thomas commented: “This is the third acquisition Efex has completed with our assistance this year. Congratulations to Efex Founder and CEO, Nick Sheehan, and all parties involved on this important milestone – we’re proud to continue the ongoing growth of the technology sector in Australia.”

The acquisition is a part of Efex’s broader growth strategy which has seen the company complete 12 acquisitions over the past decade. It further strengthens the company’s position as one of Australia’s largest mid-market providers of managed IT services, with a workforce of over 300 people in 22 locations and a client base exceeding 7,000.
