The acquisition of Brisbane-based ABFI Steel Group will see Ahrens’ steel manufacturing and fabrication capabilities also expand nationwide. ABFI is a leader in steel pile casings and structural steel pipe, bolstering Ahrens position in the road, rail, and ports infrastructure sectors.

As part of the transaction, K-TIG Limited changed its name to Metal Powder Works Limited (ASX:MPW) and was reinstated to quotation on the ASX. MPW commenced trading on the ASX on 11 March 2025 following completion of its capital raising of $10m.
Advised Mighty Good Pty Ltd on its acquisition of Wallaby Foods, the popular healthy snack brand distributed by Coles and Woolworths. Mighty Good has been established by Didi Lo, James Wain, Stephanie Booth and Spring Street Equity Partners. The Wallaby Foods business, with products made from natural, vegan ingredients that are gluten and peanut-free, has plans to expand globally.
Advised SRO Motorsports Australia Pty Ltd on the establishment of Australia’s new premier national circuit racing series in partnership with Motorsport Australia.
The partnership brings together international motorsport event promoter and operator SRO Motorsports Group with Motorsport Australia, Australia’s motorsport governing body. This series is set to become the new premier national circuit racing series and a major feature on the Australian motorsport calendar.
Advised Roc Partners on its acquisition of Freshmax, an Australian fresh produce group. The company was owned by a mix of shareholders including Maui Capital and both current and former employees. The Freshmax Group has a strong IP portfolio, made up of a combination of owned and licensed brands including Tangold mandarins, Mountain Blue blueberries, and Lani cherries.
Advised Digital Matter on an investment by Five V Capital, a leading, growth-focused private equity and venture capital firm in Australia and New Zealand.
